Personal Challenges

  • Desk-bound job so really hard to burn fat

  • Travels with work so finds it hard to eat well consistency

Strategies used to overcome challenges

  • Encouraged Dom to move as much as he could, setting regular times for him to to take breaks like walk his dogs

  • Worked through suitable food guide to ensure he ate the best he could when was working away. Dom using my online nutrition coaching system

  • Slowly built up his strength of his knee through regular strength training

  • Spent time working on his habits and adjusting his food intake improving his diet

  • Started right from the beginning and built his body up to become bulletproof

Memorable moments

  • Completing Tough Mudder injury free from start to finish

  • Being able to squat 150kg after going through knee surgery

  • Easily benching, squatting and deadlifting 1.5x his body weight

  • Can lift more than his own coach on some exercise (and no I'm not impressed. I will beat him!)

  • Dropping his body fat but maintaining his weight (built loads of muscle)

  • Being injury free for over a year

How did you feel about yourself/weight/person etc. before working with Mark? What sort person were you?

Before training with Mark, my workouts were sort of aimless. I did enough to get by. Little muscle, looked soft around the edges. Have always been active, but not necessarily in the right way. More Cardio based training, running, cross trainer etc. Therefore didn’t carry any muscle.

What did you try in the past to solve that problem before using Mark?

All different types of exercise regimes, differing eating strategies....was all a little confusing!!!

Why did you choose Mark to help you achieve your health and fitness goals?

I had previously asked for Mark’s assistance on an ad hoc basis when he worked at the gym I attended before he jetted off to Dubai. Values his opinion then, because he quite clearly developed his own physic. When he returned from Dubai, I asked to use his services and have done so since. I am probably the same weight as I was doing it myself years ago but the fat has reduced somewhat. He is the walking advert for his firm.

How is/was working with Mark different from what you had previously tried?

I used a younger PT before who trained me to physical exhaustion, and as result I picked up lots of niggly injuries, therefore my training was inconsistent. Since training with Mark, these have disappeared and my training has been consistent and the results show.

What problems have you overcome since working with Mark? Could be nutritional, injuries, habits, confidence, weight loss etc.

As above.

After working with Mark how do you feel now? Do you feel different? Describe the person you are now.

Enlightened!!! Mark has imparted a lot of his knowledge on training techniques, nutrition and general well being.

What advice would you give someone that is 'on the fence' about using a coach to help them achieve their goals?

Come on and Dive in!! It works, and I highly recommend Mark...
